Holiday Inn liked our sample room a lot, so now we are busy starting the process to make sure that every room in the hotel meets the same high standards - with one or two tweaks!

We have fought through the almost daily showers to complete the roof at last, and have erected temporary shelters so that work on the finishes to the elevations of the building can progress. As you can see, the building's appearance is changing!

Inside the building there is a conveyor belt of trades moving along corridors, floor by floor, wing by wing, systematically working in each bedroom in turn.  Joiners and plumbers have fitted out the rooms in the lower ground floor and ground floor of the south wing, and will be followed by decorators and electricians etc putting their finishing touches in place during the next couple of months.

The complex of portacabins has grown again. Along with the Main contractor and some of the sub contractors’ offices and various staffrooms, toilets, security control etc, our hotel manager now has her own office on site.
